Film screening: “Cowspiracy” plus discussion, Wed, Oct 29 at 7 pm

Wednesday, October 29,  2014, at 7:00 pm. Green Cottage Industries presents a screening of the film Cowspiracy followed by a discussion facilitated by Michael Nabert and Peter Ormond. Cowspiracy describes some of the world’s challenges and how they relate to animal agriculture. Yet our meat-eating habits are rarely mentioned as an obstacle to a more sustainable planet. The film Cowspiracy turns this silence on it’s head. Veganism and healthy dietary choices are a major part of the solution to a greener planet. Screening at 7:00 pm, discussion following the film 8:30 pm.
