Queen Cee, Unplugged and Intimate Soul Concert, Sat June 2

Saturday June 2 at 8 pm, $10. In concert: Queen Cee, Unplugged and Intimate, an Acoustic Soul-filled Session. Artword Artbar is delighted to host the extraordinary Queen Cee, the queen of Soul and R&B in Hamilton, playing an intimate concert. With Jennifer Lockman piano, Adam Bowman percussion, and special guest harpist Rachel Nolan.  Queen Cee has received honours such as the award for best R&B/Soul Recording of the Year at 2008 Hamilton Music Awards and selected with her husband Eklipz, as Hamilton’s Most Inspiring and Influential People. She is very much involved in the community. Two years ago she started an initiative group called “When Sistahs Get Together”, a multicultural women’s group that focuses on the upliftment of women and a club for young girls called Be-You-tiful Girls Club that focuses on helping to nourish their self-esteem, their self-worth, their present & future goals, while building new friendships.  www.whensistahsgettogether.com    www.be-you-tifulgirlsclub.com
