Steel City Jazz Festival presents an evening of New Jazz Compositions, a double bill with Kite Trio from Montreal and Brad Cheeseman Trio from Toronto.

Kite Trio has a new album Slightly Higher In Canada in the works. It was recorded over five days in May with producer Dave King, who helped them “capture raw, meaningful performances of 12 original compositions and one cover, with no overdubs or edits.”
