Riddim_Riders_Unplugged_cRiddim Riders Unplugged, aka Acoustic Ride, are an extension of Hamilton’s premier reggae band Riddim Riders. Core members Franklin Joseph and Mike Rajczak are joined by vocalist Lauren Mikayla, lead guitar Keon Crosswell and Christopher Charles. The Riders break away from their usual reggae-rockers vibe with this configuration, featuring acoustic and classical guitars, djembe, conga and hand percussion, and a big focus on rich vocal harmonies. Although still touching on the reggae tip, the focus is on acoustic rock, r&b and soulful originals, showcasing the band’s diversity and unique sound potential. Audiences are loving the Acoustic Ride, set for a busy summer in 2015, so come check it out and be blessed.
