Steel City Jazz Festival: Hamilton Dixieland All-Stars, Wed Oct 15

The Steel City Jazz Festival opens with a concert of Dixieland Jazz by the Hamilton Dixieland All-Stars, one of the premier traditional jazz groups in Canada. Comprised of some of the best musicians in the GTA, they are an old fashioned “party band” performing New Orleans and Chicago style standards from jazz greats such as Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, Dukes of Dixieland, Pete Fountain and many others. Frank Musico trumpet, Don Templeton trombone, Don Hall clarinet, Matt Kennedy piano, Jimmy Howard bass and Steve Wilson drums.
