Big Dance, Little Stage, Learie McNicolls, Wed & Thur, June 11-12

Wednesday June 11 and Thursday June 12, 2014, at 8 pm, $10. Choreographer and dancer Learie McNicolls curates and hosts “Big Dance, Little Stage”, an evening of contemporary dance works for a small stage. Line-up includes Learie McNicolls with Gary Santucci (spoken word),  Learie with pianist Aaron Zukewich, Hope Terry with Dave Copeland on guitar, Meagan English with Dale Morningstar on guitar, Tanis Macarthur on low silks, Judith Sandiford live-video mix visuals.
Learie, who has had a lengthy career in Toronto, is now based in Hamilton. Most recently he performed his one-man show Resurrection at The Pearl Company May 22 to 24. He was also the choreographer on Artword Theatre’s production of their musical play “James Street” performed at Artword Artbar in April 27 to May 11, 2014.
