Joni NehRita, soul/funk/pop/reggae songstress, Thur April 3

Thursday April 3, at 8 pm, $10. The incredible singer-songwriter Joni NehRita is back at Artword Artbar with her band. Joni NehRita on vocals and keyboard, Tyler Wagler on bass, Adam Bowman on drums, Jane Ellenton on woodwinds. The Joni NehRita Band brings an infectious blend of “adult pop” that flirts heavily jazz & funk while being rooted in soul music. Her live show brings together well-crafted tunes supported by a deep pocket and a sizzling band chemistry. The addition of Jane Ellenton on sax, clarinet and flute bring another texture that is satisfying both sonically and visually. The interplay between Joni and Jane bubbles with mutual admiration.
