Victor Monsivais has been performing bossa nova and Brazilian samba classics, as well as a variety of Brazilian rarities, jazz standards and Latin jazz since 2003. His repertoire draws from the greatest Brazilian composers and performers, such as Ary Barroso, Dorival Caymmi, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Newton Mendoça, João Gilberto, Chico Buarque and Caetano Veloso among others. He performs their compositions in the original Portuguese versions. Victor also plays Beny More, Buenavista Social Club, Santana, Maria Greever, and other Latin great in their original Spanish versions.
