Dwayne_Morgan-JacketcThursday February 6 at 8 pm, $10 door, $8 members: Spoken Word: Andrea Thompson, a pioneer of Slam Poetry in Canada, co-editor of anthology Other Tongues: Mixed Race Women Speak Out, the author of poetry collection Eating the Seed, and creator of Urban Music Award nominated CD, One. 
Dwayne Morgan,
a writer, speaker, and event producer, and is responsible for some of Canada’s largest spoken word productions, including the annual When Brothers Speak Concert, When Sisters Speak Concert, The Last Poet Standing Competition, and the Toronto International Poetry Slam.
