Tues Jan 12 at 8:30: “Sita Sings the Blues” a new animation feature by Nina Paley (available on a commons licence) that weaves the Indian epic Ramayana with a modern animator’s domestic crisis. Beautiful, funny and informative. Witty animation. A treat. Hosted by Ronald Weihs
Tues Jan 19 at 8 pm: jazz performance on film. Some vintage shorts of jazz greats, and “Hi-De-Ho”, a Cab Calloway feature.
