Friday October 5 at 8 pm, $15. Scott Cooper, and his band on a CD Release Tour, plus a set by Paul Federici. Penetanguishene-based singer/songwriter Scott Cooper is in town to celebrate the release of his 4th full-length LP “Quiet Company”. Cooper will be backed by an ace backing band of  Dean Drouillard (Sarah Harmer), Adam Warner (Royal Wood), and Steve Zsirai (Jill Barber) . www.scottcoopermusic.com

In September 2012, Cooper releases his fourth full-length album “Quiet Company”, produced by collaborator and friend Rob Szabo (Peter Katz, Ian Sherwood). Recorded in a rustic cabin over the winter months of 2011 and 2012, the low-key performances clearly demonstrate how environment and headspace can influence a sound. Cooper explains, “The cabin belongs to my in-laws and it’s one of my favourite places to hang out, so we would just set up the gear, crank up the wood stove and work for days. Outside of using an outhouse in February, it was the most comfortable recording experience I’ve ever had.”
