Before heading out on a solo cross-Canada tour this fall, Matthew will be playing one last “send off” show with his band: Andrew Barbisan (drums and harmonies), Jennifer Lockman (keys and harmonies), and Eric Thachuk (bass). Matthew’s latest album Colour Film was produced by Les Cooper (Jill Barber, Good Lovelies) and houses the songwriter’s trademark strong melodies and honest lyrics in a gorgeous atmospheric soundscape. Imagine Nick Drake cheering up a bit and living long enough to work with Beck.
The Woodshed Orchestra is an ecstatic soul/funk/pop big-band whose virtuoso musicians and theatrical performances make for pretty much the most fun you can have, either alone or with others.
