Saturday July 7 at 8 pm, cover $5. A high-energy night of Motown and funk with vocalist Christina di Franco and her band, Phunktown5. Christina DiFranco (vocals), Scott McIntosh (guitar), Chris Bruder (piano), Tom Altobelli (bass) and Jordan Snider(drums). Phunktown5 is a Motown/Funk cover band of 5 talented young musicians, all recent graduates from Mohawk College’s Jazz Program, covering legendary hits from the great Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Jackson5, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations and many other Motown and Funk legends.  Along with the Motown, Funk and R&B genres, these 5 add their own funky flare to some of today’s Pop hits and some Jazz standards.
