Concert: Joni NehRita, CD release, Sat June 4

Saturday June 4 at 8 pm, $12. Joni NehRita and her band (Joni NehRita vocals and keys, Adam Bowman drums,  Matthew Lima bass, Ryan Boisselle guitar). A CD Release Concert for her album, The Bare Truth. “The music blends the time-honored qualities of classic soul with a modern sensibility that flirts heavily with jazz and pop. On The Bare Truth, NehRita readily offers up her own imperfections, hopes and fears and assert that change and personal revolution are healthy, necessary even. The 1st single, “Are You Ready” is being played on Wave 94.7, The CBC, and is #17 on The UK Soul Chart. It was also performed live on Canada AM on Valentine’s Day.
