from Jordan John’s myspace page: “To say that Jordan John is a more powerful and polished singer/multi-instrumentalist than many players twice his age would tell just a fraction of the story. To list just some of the musical greats he has shared stages with on drums €” including the Guess Who’s Burton Cummings, guitar whiz Jeff Healey and, on one memorable evening in 2002, Prince €”… all by the age of 16, would give you just some idea of the respect his drive and groove can command immediately. To tell you that before Jordan had even finished high school, he toured much of Canada and the United States with harmonica virtuoso Carlos del Junco and funky funky funky Canadian R&B legends the Lincolns, well, you might begin to register the proper amount of astonishment.
The good thing is that, at age 23, Jordan is still just getting started. If you see and hear the budding guitarist/vocalist with his own three-piece combo, featuring Canadian drummer extraordinaire, Al Cross and Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame bass legend Prakash John €” who, yes, is Jordan€™s dad €” can overwhelm you at first.”
