Juno award winning pianist Adrean Farrugia joins internationally acclaimed friends, saxophonist Kelly Jefferson, bassist Dan Fortin and drummer/percussionist Ernesto Cervini for an exploration of song. The result will be an eclectic mix of beauty, groove, surprise and that joyous place that music can bring us to.

Adrean Farrugia decided by age 16 that he would dedicate his life to music. Since then he has become recognized as one of Canada’s finest pianists and composers. He has shared the music he loves globally with audiences across Canada, the United States, London UK, Paris, Tokyo, Tel Aviv, Australia, Poland, and The Netherlands. Adrean serves on the faculties of Mohawk College and York University and has conducted masterclasses and workshops for students at the University of Colorado at Boulder, the Sydney Conservatorium, the Polish Jazz Society Summer Workshop, and the University of Toronto.
Adrean has played on more than 40 albums to date, garnering four Juno award nominations, one Juno award, and one Grammy shortlist recognition. Adrean believes that music has the power to both heal and inspire both the performer and the listener, as well as revealing a higher sense of being which exists in all people, and it is this belief that drives his continued journey and commitment to musical growth.  http://adreanfarrugia.com/

Juno Award winning saxophonist Kelly Jefferson, an active freelance musician, Kelly performs regularly with groups that include the William Carn Quintet, Manteca, Emilie-Claire Barlow, Time Warp, the Artie Roth Quintet, the Shuffle Demons, Mark McLean’s Playground, the Chris Tarry Group (2008 Juno Award Winner, Contemporary Jazz Album of the Year) and Barry Romberg’s Random Access.
