Fito Molina and Jorge Gavidia are two Latino musicians who fuse the traditional folk sounds of Latin America with the Afro-Caribbean heritage and some hints of jazz. Together they bring a repertoire that will take you on a journey through the different regions of this big continent.
Fito Molina started his career as a musician in his native El Salvador. He was a member of Cayaguanca, a band that focused on Central American traditional music and which performed throughout Costa Rica and Panama. In Canada, he plays with several Latin American bands and is also known as a songwriter whose lyrics speak of social issues and personal experiences. www.fitomolina.com
