We used to think they were unusual but now it seems they're everywhere. In Rome they made themselves emperors and set Christians on fire but the Christians took over the empire declined and fell and they hung in and despite a lot of talk about you know the meek and so on the slaughters continued and people were still set on fire for believing things and then science drove away darkness and superstition and an age of reason began but they were still around ships crammed with people exchanged for sugar and rum people slaughtered and driven away to make empty lands for settlers gatling guns against assegais war to end war to end war to end war the fact is they don't care about anyone else no they don't care
