An evening of Sonore Acoustique performance, incorporating wood, metal and body. The performance makes use of metal sculptures by Julie Picard, part of her show of sculpture, paintings and drawings in Artword Gallery and Theatre, November 1 to 12, 1994.

Wood Between Worlds is a solo performance by Roderick Zalameda. The presentation encompasses the dimensions of Butoh dance and tribal soundscape of sonore acoustique music.

Metal Sculptures by Julie Picard. Pickard uses forged and welded steel to fabricate rough and vigorous organic body and plant forms. Also on show are oil and wax paintings. Both the sculptures and the paintings explore the body as a repository of emotional memory, layering the body's physical inner reality with its psychological inner reality.

Julie Pickard is a painter and sculptor now living in London, England. she is an award winning graduate of the Ontario College of Art. In 1994, she won a scholarship to study in Dundee, Scotland, where she won further awards.
