Concert: George Meanwell and Eric St-Laurent, Fri March 21

Friday March 21, 2014 at 8 pm, pwyc. An intimate concert by guitarist-songwriter George Meanwell, a musician with a fascinating career. George spent the late 70’s as a member of the folk trio Short Turn, appearing throughout Ontario (including Festival of Friends) and on national television. After a couple of decades spent earning his living as a classical cellist (including touring internationally with Quartetto Gelato) he resumed songwriting in 2002, releasing three CDs of his own material. Most recently he has been working in theatre, including the Stratford Festival, The Festival Players of Prince Edward County, and various independent projects in Toronto. www.gmeanwell.ca
