Special Concert: folk fusion duo Andy and Ariana, Wed May 16
Wednesday May16 at 8 pm, $5. A special treat from Nova Scotia, duo Andy and Ariana, playing an original, acoustic fusion of roots, folk, jazz and world music. While Ariana weaves words and melodies interspersing fiddle and saxophone riffs, Andy vocalizes percussion, plays guitar, and operates parts of a drum kit with his heels. The result is a lively one, guaranteed to entertain. http://www.AndyandAriana.com

“What a phenomenal show you presented at the Al Whittle Theatre last night!! It was way better than very good!! Pure, beautiful singing, great songs, grooves, cool & interesting lyrics, just right instrumental dialogue & punctuation, authenticity and great feel to the arrangements, with terrific spirit and humor. Andy and Ariana, you made it look so easy — A pure musical evening I especially enjoyed ‘Mara Manzoor’, such a deep & evocative song to finish after the many moods & tempos throughout the night. -Lars Kampe, songwriter
Best show I’ve seen in a long, long time! Thanks!!! -Caleb Miles, guitarist extraordinaire, songwriter
