Concert: Jazz with Emily Kemp, Sat Sep 11

Saturday September 11 at 8 pm, $5. A jazz concert with vocalist Emily Kemp’s quintet “Em and Them”: Emily Kemp on vocals, Chris Bruder on piano/keys, Jordan Snider on drums, Tom Altobelli on upright bass and bass, and Scott McIntosh on guitar. Emily is a recent graduate from Mohawk College’s music program. She began working with Tom and Scott last year, and when she put together her graduation recital, added Chris and Jordan. “We play a variety of jazz standards along with a few motown tunes. We have a lot of passion in our playing and enjoy performing.”
This is Artword Artbar’s first jazz concert of this scale and we hope leads to a lot more.
