Friday April 22, 2016, at 8 pm, $15.  Love & Spring, a jazz cabaret with vocalist Colina Phillips: “Love and Spring go heart in hand. That’s what my repertoire will reflect.” Joining Colina are Stacie McGregor (piano),  Mike Milligan (bass) and Ted Warren (drums).
Jazz pianist Stacie McGregor has her own band, the Stacie McGregor Quintet, and is also a member of Brandi Disterheft’s Juno-award winning band and Archie Alleyne’s hard-bop band Kollage.   http://www.staciemcgregor.com/
Bassist Mike Milligan, nominated for Jazz Bassist of the Year at the 2008 National Jazz Awards, has performed and recorded with David Liebman, Joshua Redman, Donny McCaslin, David Binney, Claude Ranger, Jeff Ballard, Billy Kilson, Adam Nussbaum, Don Thompson, and Sonny Greenwich. Mike has toured all around the globe as a sideman including multiple tours of Europe with the Shuffle Demons. He presently also leads his Quartet and co-leads a guitar and double bass duo (SixplusFour) with guitarist James Brown.
