Summer Jazz at Artword Artbar: Improvisational jazz with ”The Sextet”– Corey McBride – tenor saxophone; Jacob Sinclair - guitar; Ruthie Pytka-Jones – vocals; Victor Vrankulj – bass; Josh Smiley – piano; Mike Rajna – drums. Composed of Mohawk Music students, “The Sextet” is a collaboration of young musicians from Hamilton, Stoney Creek, and as far as Brampton. This dynamic group explores improvisational jazz in a variety of styles, giving old classics fresh interpretations.
